Members Only: Single dose treatment and post-exposure prophylaxis for influenza

Dr Richard S. Herman has been in practice for 40 years and specializes in emergency medicine. He currently works for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Massachusetts, treating many of the 64,000 patients the hospital sees each year. He served as an Emergency Department chief for nearly thirty years. He has held various leadership roles in Emergency Medicine at the state and national level.  He is on the faculty of Tufts University School of Medicine.

Dr Herman also works part-time as college health physician, a telemedicine physician for several national telemedicine companies and as a clinical reviewer for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.  

Dr Herman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.
