• Topic: Treating DVT and PE and Reducing the Risk of Stroke and Systemic Embolism in Nonvalvular Atrial Fibrillation

Speaker:
Vincent Perrelli, MD, CMD, joined Elmhurst Extended Care as medical director in September 2013. A board-certified geriatrician, Dr. Perrelli has served for more than 10 years as the Director of Geriatric Outreach Services at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Mass.

He previously held the positions of Director of the Geriatric Center at Waltham Hospital and Director of Primary Care and Geriatrics Services at Westborough State Hospital.

He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed residencies at Boston City Hospital and Peter Bent Brigham Hospital. Dr. Perrelli has held a number of teaching positions including Clinical Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
