Overwhelming support in the House!

H.R. 6087 the Improving Access to Workers’ Compensation for Injured Federal Workers Act was scheduled for debate this afternoon in the U.S. House of Representatives and for a floor vote this evening. We are very pleased to report that the bill received 325 votes and passed the House with the over 2/3 votes needed to pass the bill under suspension of the House rules. The vote was overwhelmingly bipartisan, with the majority of Democrats and Republicans each voting in favor of the legislation. We overcame opposition from organized medicine with a closely coordinated campaign, garnering support from other organizations as well as 2,198 grassroots letters generated from AANP’s Advocacy Center.
I will post more info about senate as it’s available. Thanks All!!
