Cardiac Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Baystate Health New

We are seeking Acute Care Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants to join our team.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
• Join our cardiac critical care team at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA in providing care to our pre- and post-op patients. The team consists of 10 experienced APPs who work closely with cardiac intensivists, cardiac surgeons, invasive cardiologists and heart failure attendings.
• Work in our cardiac ICU and step-down units. Busy traditional cardiac surgical program providing the full gamut of surgical procedures, robust mechanical circulatory support program with durable implantable ventricular assist devices and temporary circulatory support platforms including ECMO.
• Outstanding orientation is provided to all new APPs joining the team. Once fully trained, enjoy a high level of autonomy with 24/7/365 support from intensivists and surgeons.
• This full-time position includes six 13-hour shifts in a 2-week period and is a mix of days, nights, weekend and holidays.

• $7500 bonus available for candidates with 2+ years’ experience in cardiac critical care.
