In-home patient care

Home visits for high-risk members of Neighborhood health plan of RI. Offering adjunct to primary care in the home to reduce/prevent ER and hospital utilization.

General and Bariatric Surgery practice setting. Mix of inpatient rounding, OR first assist, and outpatient clinic.

5 days per week Preceptorship includes 2 inpatient hospital days rounding on postoperative patients and OR time. The remaining 3 days include outpatient clinic, seeing roughly 12-15 patients per day. Hospital hours 7am-4pm , clinic hours 8am-4pm.

Adult/Gerontological NP owned practice in Middletown, RI.

Family / Emergency Medicine year round. Very busy from June to October.

This is a great experience for an experienced RN student who is close to finishing their graduate work. This is a rotation where you will be able to live on the island and work at the medical center where I practice. In the past students have done weekly rotation with call. ( 5-7 days straight) or 2 day rotations for the semester.

Growing, Nurse Practitioner owned, family practice with multiple therapeutic modalities on-site.

Family practice preceptorship available 4 days per week. Monday - Thursday 9 am-6 pm.

Occupational Health Center. DOT physicals, drug screenings, wellness screenings, acute injuries or illnesses, and teaching opportunities to employees.

M-F 8-4 at PACEs Riverside location I see 2-4 patients per day + spend the rest of my day on QI projects, coordination of care, family meetings ect. Can teach joint and trigger point injections for OA

CVS MinuteClinics

Diagnose and treat common illnesses, minor injuries and skin conditions in patients 18 months and older. Provide vaccinations, physicals and Department of Transportation screenings. Prescribe medications for appropriate diagnosis.
