Cardiovascular PA

Location: A vibrant coastal hub in Maine known for its rich history, thriving food scene, and picturesque waterfront. Approximately 108 miles outside of Boston!

Facility: A multi-campus medical center that employs about 9,000 care team members working across a variety of specialized care, administrative and support functions, including clinical care delivery, medical education and research.

Opportunity:

• Looking for an Inpatient Locums Cardiovascular Surgery APP to fill their need!
• Length of coverage: 3-6 months
• The candidate will work four 10-12 hour days per week if assigned to the OR and three 12-13 hour shifts if assigned to the ICU.
• The ICU does include overnights in house.
• The provider will have a 1 in 4 or 5 weekend responsibility. (On call from 6p Friday to 6a Monday)
• Surgical call responsibility: 1-2 week days per week from 6P-6A.
• Volume of Cardiac Surgery Division: 7 adult surgeons and 32 APPs; 1,600 pump cases are handled per year; Perform all cardiac surgery procedures except transplant
• Candidate working at one/multiple locations/settings: one location only
• Number of residents/fellows: None
