Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Electrophysiology (EP) Arrhythmia Department- Full time Days

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and device checks for patients with cardiac implantable device
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans
  • Utilize advanced technology to monitor patients remotely and provide timely interventions
  • Educate patients and their families about device management care, cardiac ablation procedure, and arrythmia
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Gather data, conduct initial history and physical examination, and formulate and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physician
  • Order diagnostic studies related to the patient's plan of care and response to treatment
  • Provide follow-up care on outpatient basis

This is a Full time Day shift position, 4 days per week, 8am to 6pm. No weekends or holidays. Located at 56-45 Main Street Flushing, NY 11355

Preferred Criteria

  • Current or previous nursing experience in cardiology
  • Three or more electrophysiology NP experience

Required Criteria

  • Master of Science in Nursing
  • BSN
  • Current New York State License as Nurse Practitioner
  • Current New York State RN license
  • FNP board certification through ANCC or AANP

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

$151,721-$172,150/Annual
