A leading healthcare group in Connecticut is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Hematology/Oncology team in Torrington. • Setting: Hematology/Oncology outpatient clinic
• Note: Ability to independently manage benign hematology is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will be responsible for:

• Providing care to hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient setting
• Managing benign hematology cases independently (preferred)
• Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care
• Documenting patient information in the EMR system
• Participating in patient education and follow-up

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hematology/oncology experience
• Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• Active and unrestricted CT license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA and CDS (if applicable)
