Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner New

A health services network in New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) for a great opportunity with their Endocrinology team at one of their facilities in Orange County.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Flexible
• Patient Population: All ages

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with other members of the team to provide examination and treatment of patients
• Perform procedural care, assessment, and treatment of acute injuries, infections, illnesses, asthma care. etc.
• Prescribe and interprets appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or abnormalities
• Keep and maintain appropriate records relating to all professional services rendered
• Prepare and reviews reports, claims, and correspondence
• Ensure that records and documentation are in compliance with Federal and State regulations
• Prescribe medication and treatment for the patient
• Recommend appropriate physical and dietary routines and methods for disease prevention and maintaining personal hygiene
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Endocrinology experience
• NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Patient oriented
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
