A reputable behavioral health organization is expanding their mental health team and is looking for a dedicated PMHNP to join their growing practice.

About the Role

As a key member of the mental health care team, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care, including:

• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Diagnosing and treating mental health disorders
• Prescribing medications and evidence-based treatments
• Developing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Documenting care in an EHR and maintaining regulatory compliance
• Educating patients and families on diagnoses and treatment options
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in the state of MA
• MCSR & DEA required
• Experience in a psychiatric setting preferred, not required
• Knowledge of ICD coding and behavioral health regulations (JC, CMS, DMH, DPH)
• Strong skills in crisis management, problem-solving, and time management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Proficiency with EHR systems

Compensation

$155,000 – $170,000 per year, depending on experience.
