Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – GYN/ONC | Penn Medicine (HUP)

Philadelphia, PA | Full-Time • Four 10‑hour shifts • Includes weekends & holidays

Penn Medicine’s Women’s Health Division is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP – Acute Care) to join the Inpatient Gynecology Oncology team at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. This is an opportunity to deliver advanced oncologic care alongside experts at one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers.

What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient care for patients with gynecologic malignancies and complex co‑morbidities.
• Manage patients undergoing aggressive chemotherapy and post‑surgical interventions.
• Perform histories, physical exams, and procedures aligned with credentialing standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality oncologic care.
• Educate patients and families, document care according to institutional standards, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care required)
• Current PA licensure or eligibility; eligible for credentialing by the medical board.
• Oncology experience preferred (RN or APP), but new graduates considered individually.
• Ability to work full‑time across four 10‑hour shifts, including some weekends/holidays.
