Join us - South County Health – tomorrow evening (Tuesday, March 19) in showing your support as we provide testimonials at the RI Senate Committee Hearing in support of Senator V. Susan Sosnowski’s and Sentate leaders’ Bill for the Rhode Island Office of the Health Insurance Commissioner Dual Mandate - 2024-S 2722 to:

  • Achieve reimbursement rates of Massachusetts and Connecticut for Rhode Island’s doctors, advanced practice providers and hospitals;

  • Ensure the adequacy of Rhode Island’s healthcare workforce and sustainability of Rhode Island’s hospitals; and 

  • Improve the accessibility, quality and equity of Rhode Island’s entire healthcare delivery system. 

South County Health's Aaron Robinson (CEO & President), Angela Taber, MD (Medical Director, Cancer Center), and Tory Groves, RN (Administrative Director, Nursing) will provide testimonials in support of Bill 2024-S 2722 at the RI Senate Committee Hearing tomorrow evening, Tuesday, March 19 in Room 211 of the State House.

 

The proceedings are scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm with Bill 2024-S 2722 slated #8 on the agenda. The full agenda for the Senate Committee on Health & Human Services can be found HERE.

Metered parking is available on the street outside the State House, with additional parking available at Providence Place Mall.
